Exciting Update: Dr. Kim Jae Woo Attended

the 2024 Motiva World Symposium in Barcelona!

Hello to all our wonderful patients and followers!

I’m excited to share a recap of my recent experience at the 2024 Motiva World Symposium on Ergonomic Implants

in Barcelona, Spain, which took place from October 31st to November 2nd.

This global event brought together top plastic surgeons to discuss

and explore the latest advancements in breast surgery,

and I had the incredible opportunity to learn from some of the best in the field.

Key Highlights from the Symposium

  1. Live Surgery: Mastopexy with Tissue Preservation
One of the first sessions I attended featured a live surgery on Mastopexy with tissue preservation.
This breast lift technique preserves important tissue for natural-looking results.                                                                           While I already perform this type of surgery regularly, it was insightful to see new perspectives and refinements from leading experts.                                       This technique is especially popular in Europe and the U.S., and I’m noticing growing interest in Korea as well.

  1. Advanced Tips for Stabilization in Pexies
    Another session
focused on advanced stabilization techniques for breast lifts.
While the topic was quite technical, the key takeaway was how to ensure long-lasting, aesthetically pleasing results.                             I gained valuable insights that I look forward to integrating into my surgical approach to enhance patient outcomes.

  1. Aesthetic Breast Reconstruction
One of the most exciting surprises was a dedicated panel on Aesthetic Breast Reconstruction.                                               This session was particularly relevant for patients considering options after breast cancer surgery, reduction, or other reconstructive procedures.                         Our clinic has always prioritized both function and aesthetics, and it was inspiring to see how experts worldwide are innovating to improve patient experiences.

Other Notable Sessions

The symposium covered a range of fascinating topics, including discussions on managing “Ozempic Breast” (a subject I’ll be diving into soon!) and further advancements in stabilization techniques.                               Each session provided valuable knowledge that I’m eager to incorporate into my practice.

Attending events like these allows me to stay at the forefront of innovation, ensuring that my patients receive the best possible care with the latest techniques.                                             I’m excited to apply what I’ve learned and continue refining my approach to deliver even better results.

If you have any questions about these topics or upcoming consultations, feel free to reach out or leave a comment!

Warm wishes,
Dr. Kim Jae Woo
